The Law Enforcment course prepares students for careers as municipal or state police officers, dispatchers, F.B.I. agents, U.S. Marshals, park rangers, security officers, military police officers, probation officers, sheriffs, surveillance system monitors and correction officers. Students receive instruction in the technical law, criminal law and rules of criminal procedure. Basic self defense tactics as well as hand gun experience in vehicle searches, accident investigation, handcuffing techniques, fire-arms safety, search and seizure, reporting procedures, first aid/ CPR and physical fitness are part of the course curriculum. The course offers structured and disciplined training which resembles a police academy setting where military customs and courtesies are an integral aspect of the training regime.
