COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Cosmetology course provides a variety of instruction that enables the student to systematically and professionally perform the required skills in the art and science of Cosmetology. Instruction is related to the hair, scalp, skin, eyes, hands, feet, and eyebrows. Students learn to shape, style, shampoo. curl, straighten, color, and bleach hair. Scalp and facial treatment, anatomy, biology, hygiene, sanitation, safety, and the chemistry of Cosmetology are features of the program.
Graduates of the course will be prepared to take the state of Cosmetology Board Examination which is required for licensing.
