COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Carpentry and Millwork course prepares students to apply technical knowledge and skills involved with the construction of framed dwellings and will include some emphasis on cabinet making. Instruction will emphasize such work as erection of framework, partitions, joists, flooring, and install of exterior and interior sheathing and trim. Operation of woodworking machinery, fitting, gluing, installation of hardware, and finishing will be part of instruction.
