COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Air Conditioning and Refrigeration course provides students with the skills to install, repair and maintain commercial and domestic air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Utilizing blue prints and design specifications, students will install motors, compressors evaporator, and other components on various equipment. Students troubleshoot for malfunctions and repair any deficiencies. the student applies knowledge of mechanical, electrical and refrigeration theory to repair or replace various parts of equipment such as switches, relays, fan motors, thermostats and other components. The students also install air ducts, pumps and electrical wiring.
