COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Welding course offers instruction in the joining of metal by various welding and/or cutting procedures such as gas metal arc, gas tungsten arc, shield metal arc, oxyacetylene, and plasma. Students will learn proper use of related equipment such as band saws, drill presses, power brake and stand shears, and grinders. Also included in the course will be instruction in the various properties of metals. layout, fabrication, weld inspection and non-destructive testing.
