fashion Design and Interior Decorating
The Fashion Design program prepares students in fabrication of textiles, interior decoration, and household and commercial cleaning. The course provides instruction in the construction and repair of garments consisting of cotton, wools, silks, and synthetic blends. The use of specialty sewing machines and specialized program machines as well as the coordination of color designs and fabrics for home decorating are taught. The students also learn the use of commercial cleaning and steamers for employment in hotels and related fields.
