Cooperative Education
Diversified Cooperative education is a program for students who, through a cooperative arrangement between the school and employers, receive instruction by alternation study in school with a job in a variety of occupations. These two experiences are planned and supervised by the school and employers so that each contributes to the students education and employability. The students' weekly schedule consists of classes at their sending school each morning, a theory class one afternoon each week, and a minimum of fifteen hours of work per week at their place of employment.
